As a Graphic Converter user for many years, nobody appreciates more than I do the work Thorsten has put into the application. Not being an artist or designer, though, my use of GC has only scratched the surface of its many capabilities.
I'm a former typesetter, getting my start in the late 1970s on one of the first early, influential, and affordable computer phototypesetters, the Quadritek 1200.
The multimedia production house where I worked had many large, multinational corporate clients, and we produced top-notch visual (and audio) work for them. Our designers and art directors were very particular when it came to typography, and I developed a real appreciation for it.
While GC currently offers overall type kerning (affecting each character with the same value), I'm wondering if it might be possible to have manual, individual pair kerning, allowing the adjustment of spacing between pairs of characters. Adobe makes this available by placing the cursor between the two characters and using the ALT/OPTION modifier key with either the left or right arrow to open or close the spacing.
Thank you for the consideration!

Many thanks for your suggestion. I added that to our wishlist.
