Hi Thorsten
Thanks for all your hard work keeping us going!
Two small matters, one appeared recently the other has been an issue over several versions/ years.
1- In Browser Cmd-W for close window, used multiple times in the app, does not function on first use. Second time, it is ok.
I thought this was my fingers just being 'light' to touch keyboard, yet it will happen a dozen times in a row over multiple files I inspect.
2- In Browser again- when changing (reducing a file by cropping or % or both), the Preview view does not change. Even after closing the file concerned, unless it is a small (say 50k) file, the Preview image retains all that was just cropped from the actual file.
My solution- I have to manually change the graphics file name in the main area by adding a spurious character (z or x etc.) or a space before the extension dot. Frankly it drives me nuts- started with some variation of GC11 a couple of years ago. Per pic below- the thumbnail shows the result, the Preview not updated.
thanks,
davew

Re: Minor Mac Issues
Hi,
1) The menu shortcuts are handled by the Apple AppKit. GraphicConverter gets called after the AppKit did handle the event.
Which macOS and GC do you use?
2) Please go to the GraphicConverter settings under Browser > Thumbnail creation and select: Recreate always.

Re: Minor Mac Issues
Click onto the popup which starts with Fast and select the slower high quality options.
Now the other popup will get active.

Thank you, apologies I have not replied until now.
Yes that does work, but visibly only once each restart?
If I amend a graphic jpeg/ jpg or png, the preview doesn't change.
If I avoid 'resaving the same file, but close the app, and restart, both the thumbnail and preview will have changed.
Strange ?
regards,
dave
