[Solved] Missing Thumbnail Metadata panes in Settings.

I just upgraded from GC 9.72 (2075) to 12.5.3 (7341). Yes, I'm aware that that's a big step. But my old Mac wouldn't handle anything newer. It has now been almost replaced with an Apple Silicon M4 Mac Mini, and I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner.

I just installed the updated GC on the new Mac, and am trying to display file sizes in the browser, but not having any luck. I've consulted the manual where it discusses the 'Thumbnail Metadata' panes (pages 277 and 385), but those panes do not appear in settings for me.

I must assume that I'd doing something wrong, and would like a little guidance on how to correct that problem.

In general, I must say that I was able to step from GC-9 to GC-12 almost totally seamlessly, a real benefit as far as I am concerned, and something that all involved should be proud to have done.

Keep up the great work.

And I must assume that this is not an error in the software, but something that 'I' am doing wrong. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Just use the panel Metadata (Grid View) to select all metadata which should be displayed below each thumbnail.

Thank you. That did exactly what I was looking for. Problem resolved.

I was pretty sure that it was me being stupid to one degree or another, and it seems it was.

Other than that, I'm finding the transition from a version that I purchased more than twelve years ago to the current version was simple. As unlike virtually every other piece of software, you've maintained the look and feel of that old version.
