Uploading

I have never uploaded anything to a server (except through .Mac), and understand it normally needs a specialist application. But I see that GC has an 'Upload' option and wonder if I can use this? When I try I get various error messages, like 405, 30774 and 30785. I insert my ISP (f2s) url, username, password and path. The only anomaly I can see is that GC wants to begin ftp://, whereas my ISP url begins http://. I tried my 'FTP host' address, which begins 'ftp', but it did not help. Any advice appreciated. Ian
