Re: [gcmac] Find Duplicates + Another request Hello, these wishes go to Thorsten who has a long list of wishes but also works hard on it. Regards, Hagen Henke The text that Mr. Walters is referring to I believe is the actual pathname of the duplicates as they are displayed in the Found Duplicates dialogue. I too would like to see more control over details in GC's user interface - some adjustability in the smaller font size in this dialogue would be welcome.  I also would like to ask again for some additional information to be optionally displayed for found duplicates - just like the checkbox that will display the images' dimensions. I think having the choice of displaying the files' compression ratios would be very useful - at least to us. -Jim *************** On May 24, 2006, at 2:02 AM, Hagen Henke wrote: Hello,    the middle section is where the thumbnails are displayed in contrast to the  left hand section with the file tree.    To open the context menu please use Ctrl.-Click everywhere in all software  even in the Finder.    To display menus larger please low the resolution of your monitor. Re: [gcmac] Find Duplicates + Another request Hello, no, it is the small system font as we call it. You better do not change it in the system as this can and will lead into problems. There is one catch. You need to do this before the Find Duplicates starts since I couldn't find a way to do it when the first duplicate was in front of me and I realized I'd forgotten to do it ahead of time. To respond to the two folks that said it was the pathname I found too small. Yes. That is the problem. I have a small magnifying glass that I hold up against the screen and sometimes it is still difficult. The problem would not be apparent to someone with perfect vision. Unfortunately, as the years go by certain parts of the body don't perform as well as they did when we were younger. Kind Regards, -- Joe Walters: To know, and not to do, is not yet to know

Hello, very long time ago there was an Atari program magnifying the part of the screen under the mouse. Try finding one like this to better read the small system font parts in all programs. An enlarge button in the find duplicates dialog might be possible too. Don't know why you're going thru all this bother. There's a wonderful fix located in your systems preferences! It's located under the "Universal Access". Select "Zoom" under the "Seeing" section. You can keep the "Zoom" "ON" as I do and just "Zoom In" and "Zoom Out" as you need it. You'll see under the "Options" that you can select some pretty LARGE zoom factors! Play with it a bit and I GUARANTEE you'll love it!Regards///DominikOn Jun 5, 2006, at 3:44 AM, Hagen Henke wrote: Hello, very long time ago there was an Atari program magnifying the part of thescreen under the mouse. Re: [gcmac] Find Duplicates + Another request from Finder Help: Making the screen image appear larger If you have difficulty seeing or reading objects on your screen, you can make items on your screen appear larger by setting zoom options in the Universal Access pane of System Preferences. To turn on zoom and set zoom options:         1.       Choose Apple menu > System Preferences and click Universal Access. Then click Seeing.         2.       Select the On button under Zoom. When zoom is turned on, you use keyboard shortcuts to enlarge and reduce the screen image.         *        Command-Option-equal (=) makes the screen image appear larger (zooms in).         *        Command-Option-hyphen (-) makes the screen image appear smaller (zooms out). You can change these shortcut keys in the Keyboard Shortcuts pane of Keyboard & Mouse preferences. Open this for me Universal Access preferences At 9:44 AM +0200 2006-06-05, Hagen Henke wrote: very long time ago there was an Atari program magnifying the part of the screen under the mouse.
