Any thoughts about an iPod convertor?

It seems to me that having an automatic conversion to formats that follow the Apple guidelines for use on an iPod would certainly be useful. The conversion built into iTunes and the iPod is a bit cumbersome and quite slow. I'm sure Thorsten could do better (if there are not either legal or technical entanglements I don't know about. If one keeps one's pictures in GC this convertor would help to avoid using iTunes (when combined with an upload utility). Of course it would be nice to have the entire thing: conversion to iPod format and upload and download from the iPod, but that is stepping beyond what GC seems designed to do. Still wishing is nice... Any thoughts about either of these Thorsten?? Chuck Boody
