Command line GraphicConverter documentation?

I've been a serious GC user for years. I understand from the release notes that the UB version of the most recent GC builds supports command-line access from unix. Unfortunately, try as I might, I can't seem to find any documentation on how to use it. If I try calling the app directly by using the binary executable in /Applications/GraphicConverter.app/Contents/ MacOS/GraphicConverter directly, it just opens the application. Anybody have any notes on how to access this functionality? Thanks!
