no warning for distorted lossless rotation

I deleted the GC preferences file but still get no warning when rotating JPEGs that do not have dimensions divisible by 16, resulting in a distortion band on one side. I tried all 3 methods of rotation. When I rotate back to the original position, however, I get the orginal photo back as it was. Still, would like a warning.
