[Solved] Correcting Digital Camera CCD Defects

One of my cameras has on the CCD a lot of dust and perhaps a couple of burn marks from being pointed at the sun.

If I take an image of an evenly illuminated piece of white paper, I effectively get an image showing just the CCD defects.

In the past, with admittedly much more sophisticated scientific camera systems, I have been able to use such a reference image to almost completely (and automatically) remove the defects from real images.

Does anybody have a procedure for doing this using GC?

Thanks,

Larry

You can use the batch action "Remove Bad Pixel" for that.

Just select the black pixel with the bad pixels in the popup.
Now you can process your source files with the batch.
