Hello from Midwest U.S.A., (Using Mac OS X on V6.0.1 136) Just started playing with LGC and it is cool! I got it to stroke a 3 pixel circle on an image in yellow to highlight something (It was abit pixelated), typed a text on the same image, and played with other tools. I found the background and foreground colors. I was just playing around this afternoon trying to figure out it's tools etc. Couldn't find an arrow or straight line but have not looked that well yet. 1. I tried to open a new layer without success on another image. The type tool did form on it's own layer so I was able to move my text about. How can I form a new layer? 2. I tried to form a new image from scratch. I went to new and made an image 16cm wide by 10 high. Selected all and filled with the foreground which I filled with black. I wished to add another image I did in GC but couldn't figure out how to do this? Could you help me? It's just figuring out the tools to this great program. Thanks in advance, ~metta
