a scaling results in a reversal of colors

Hello, In the browser just did a 50% scale batch action on two black on white text scans which resulted in the background color turning into the same color as the digital darkroom color of the browser and the text changed from black to white. I guess I will have to rescan.. keith GC 6.6b23 osx6.2
