Finding Duplicates

Post by Joe Walters »

Folks, I posted pretty much this question on 9/28 and did not receive any replies. I'll try to rephrase the question. I have GC 7 installed. The problem: 1. Suppose I'm sent a cartoon that I'm fairly certain is in my collection. 2. I can't remember what title I saved it under. 3. There are dozens of folders under the top heading of "Cartoons." Those folders co8ld well have sub and sub-sub folders i.e., looking through all of the files in these folders is way too much work. 4. The solution is to save the "new" cartoon in a folder we'll name "zzDuplicate Check" at the bottom of the top folder. I remember: 1. Create a folder i.e., zzDiplicate Check in the folder where I suspect a duplicate exists. 2. Put the cartoon I'm wondering about in that folder. 3. Here is where I draw a blank. What do I do to have GC start this duplicate search?
