Canon EOS 5D Mark II Question about Color temperature

Hello, I made some test pics, varying the settings of White Balance (Auto, Shaded, Clouded etc.) I am trying two ways to import pics from the Canon into my iMac. 1. with Finder and then import them into GC 2. with Aperture Findings with 1: - Thorsten uses the exiftool from Phil Harvey and this gives Color Temperature: 5200 for both CR2 and JPG Findings with 2: - Aperture shows different numbers Kelvin for the CR2's and apparently the JPG's are copied from the created CR2's, and although the JPG's look like the corresponding CR2's, they all carry the same Kelvin number (i.e. always 5000K) Just wanted to know if someone has an explanation for this?
