How do I hide the zoom bar in GC 8.1?

How do I hide the zoom bar in GC 8.1?
It's the bar with the 100% zoom level dropdown menu, the zoom in and out buttons, etc., at the bottom of every image I open. Is there no way to hide this bar? Thanks, Nathan
