can't browse a dropbox folder?

Post by Nathaniel »

Hi. Long-time (many years) gc user, short-time Dropbox user, first post here. Can I browse a Dropbox folder using GC? When I simply choose any folder within my Dropbox hierarchy in the "Browse..." dialogue box, it doesn't work, opening the GC browse window instead at the top level of my HD. I imagine this is some sort of aliasing weirdness. Is there a secret path somewhere that I can tell GC to use to show the 'real' local version of the Dropbox folder? Thanks!

I just tried it with the latest GC I have, v8.5.1.The File menu has a separate Browse Dropbox command. Using it causes the browser to open my /Users/gordon/Dropbox/Camera Uploads folder, which includes all the photos from my iPhone. They display just like any typical folder containing photos. If instead I use the Browse.. command to navigate to the the same folder manually, and click the Select button, I get the same browser display as described above.Seems to be working fine here. -Gordon On Wed, Jan 16, 2013 at 7:06 PM, Nathaniel <glurbix@gmail.com> wrote: Hi. Thanks! ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
