I just got the same result as Dave. The "Update Error! The update is improperly signed" error stopped the download at 53.6MB of 160.8MB. This was using the built-in update function in GC 8.5.1 (1116). Tom's message inspired me to try the update a second time. GC was still running after my first (failed) update attempt. I used "Check for Updates", and this the download and relaunch worked! I used the auto-update from within GC, and it worked fine. Took a long time to download, probably because everybody was doing it at once, but it completed download and installed, just like it should. First time failed for me as well (I was updating from the Beta if that makes any difference), but the 2nd time (from 8.5.3) it worked fine.Mike.
