OMG!! - GC8 did not save my image!?

Post by Wayne »

I used the more recent version of GC and I kept saving the image as I added adjustments - to desktop.. Then I reopened the App. and it had no listing of recently opened files... So also, in my experience with GC over years time it does tend to act up betimes. And too my question is what is wrong? Can I get the image back? Did GC8 even save it. Wayne

Hello Wayne, did you maybe shorten the list in your system preferences. The Open Recent Files menu is managed by the MacOS.Thorsten On 11.07.2013, at 03:33, "Wayne" <eligurwayne@yahoo.ca> wrote:   I used the more recent version of GC and I kept saving the image as I added adjustments - to desktop.. Thorsten, With GC, on my machine I show only two items. And with Pages I show 10 items. This has been a problem with GC for a long time. Why does GC save so many less than any other Applications? If I do a "SAVE AS" then it goes through windows asking file size rename etc... then if I hit OK it repeats some of this... like "REPLACE Existing File?" However if I just do "SAVE" it either sort of instantly saves or shows a FILE SIZE pref. window then saves... Computing is really tough as it all goes through LOGIC and on most machines and OS the logic layout is complex / faulty and may be one reason for CRASHES and lock ups? don't suppose LOGIC is a subject we yet have fully comprehended at all @ Robert: what do you mean saves less than other apps?
