Catalog/HTML 8.8.3 (1376)

Post by Robert Poland »

Thorsten, The latest version seems to create an HTML with the pictures in some sort of random order. I set filenames with a “01_" prefix so that they will be ordered by modification date. Example; 01_veterans day.jpg 02_george & teresa 1013.jpg 03_george 1013.jpg 04_runners2.jpg 05_runners.jpg Result: 28_ 04_ 06_ Is there a new setting somewhere that messes this up? TIA, Robert Poland - Fort Collins, CO

That is something in the Apple Finder file sorting system that REALLY needs to be fixed. It happens under just about every program. -ed- On Nov 16, 2013, at 11:38 AM, Robert Poland <rpoland@usa.net> wrote: > > On Nov 16, 2013, at 9:34 AM, Thorsten Lemke <lemke@lemkesoft.de> wrote: > >> Hello Robert, >> >> I changed here nothing. >> >> Can you reproduce? > > Happens every time. > >> Thorsten >> >> >> On 16.11.2013, at 17:29, Robert Poland <rpoland@usa.net> wrote: >> >>> Thorsten, >>> >>> The latest version seems to create an HTML with the pictures in some sort of random order. >>> >>> I set filenames with a “01_" prefix so that they will be ordered by modification date. >>> >>> Example; >>> 01_veterans day.jpg >>> 02_george & teresa 1013.jpg >>> 03_george 1013.jpg >>> 04_runners2.jpg >>> 05_runners.jpg >>> >>> Result: >>> 28_ >>> 04_ >>> 06_ >>> >>> Is there a new setting somewhere that messes this up? >>> >>> TIA, >>> >> >> >> >> ------------------------------------ >> >> Yahoo Groups Links >> >> >> > > Robert Poland - Fort Collins, CO > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > Yahoo Groups Links > > >

In follow-up, do you use Default Folder? I have been using this feature in GraphicConverter for years without any problem. I think you’re confusing with the ”Feature” that numbers; 1, 2, 20, 3… On Nov 16, 2013, at 10:30 AM, Ed Foskey <edward@foskeyroad.com> wrote: > In follow-up, do you use Default Folder? > > > On Nov 16, 2013, at 12:29 PM, Ed Foskey <edward@foskeyroad.com> wrote: > >> That is something in the Apple Finder file sorting system that REALLY needs to be fixed. Thorsten, I restored version 8.8.1 (1329) and the Catalog function behaves as always.
