Can I change/stretch the height of a text object?

I've been away from GraphicConverter for while but I recollect in a previous version that I could stretch the height of a font in a text object without changing the width. I hope I am not recollecting another program, lol. I have a poster with 350 point lettering. I want to make the text taller while not changing the width. Can this type of stretching be done in a text object? Can I stretch a flattened version of the text (I know I would loose editing capabilities)? Thanks all, Jim
