Batch name change flaw

Hi, I'm working with batch name changing under Convert and modify.I have a number of folders in which there are files with names to change. They are to get parent folder name plus index number.in previous versions of GC there was no problem. The "&parent;" routine is very smart. Now I have new Mac /Yosemite/ and GC version 9When running the Name change routine / Advanced flap and call for Files only plus Subfolders content - I see only folders in the Present name/Change to preview windows.There is no indication that files are subject to change, only folders are - which I don't want.I want to see that folders do not change and that there will be name change among files. That and only that. Files are Nikon NEF raw.Is there a solution to this? Is this a Yosemite vs GC9 bug?Yours bestJohan, Sweden

Oh, great service with so fast response!Answer: Yes. I use the Swedish version. The menu says "Avancerat". Yours says "Specials". As I toggle between Files/folders, Files only and Folders only, there is no change in the preview window to the right. The choice seems stuck on Folders.Any clue to that problem?Johan

I did a total re-installation. 9.5 as before. Problem remains.What happens is that the ordered conversion DOES take effect. I CAN convert the files. I have tried it. So in a sense it works.BUT: Under the "Specials" flap there is no preview of the effects of name changing of files.The radio buttons under "Special" don't seem to react at all. It's as if it's stuck on "Folders" I never see any files in neither the "Present name" nor the "Change to" window. Only the name of a folder and what it is to be changed to (which actually does not happen, since I have marked that files shall change, which they do...)Since I rename files in dozens of folders in one move, I would like to see what happens in each folder. I did that beautifully in previous version.Johan

Well, no, it does not (preview items of any folder).The rename dialog does not show any files. At all. Regardless of radio button chosen.All it shows is the folder chosen and what it's new name would be.
