Slideshow with search option doesn't find anything if target folder

The search option in the slideshow of GC 9.7.4 finds the requested files if the target folder is on the system disk, but apparently fails to find anything if the target folder is on a virtual disk (mounted, of course !).A second question relies to the characters which are recognized in the search function of slideshow : symbols (for example) don't seem to be accepted.

Hello,the search uses Spotlight.
