I recently got a new iMac with a 4K display after years of using an old MacMini with a 1080p display.

With the 1080p display if I opened an image it displayed at actual size (more or less) but with the 4K display, the images are tiny.

How do I tell GC to open an image at actual size?

To demonstrate what I mean, see the attached image. The large image was opened in Preview, the small image was opened in GC. How do I get GC to open the image in actual size as Preview does? I'm sure there's a setting, I just can't find it.

GraphicConverter uses the native resolution for display.
So, just go to the prefs part general/display content and set the display size to always 200%.

I have the same problem as the originator of this thread. Setting the display size to "always 200%" solves that problem, but it creates a new problem: Large images are only partly shown on the screen, i.e. the image is shown with scroll bars. So, what I would like to have is the same behavior as the setting "whole screen", but with 200%. In other words: Small images shall be shown at 200%, and large images shall be zoomed out so that they fit completely onto the screen. Would that be possible?
