Oh, this forum is now also the victim of spammers.
First you should ban/kick the user GalenMi who is continously trying to post spam.
To prevent spammers in future (at least bots) you should then also set up extra authentication when signing up. I once had another board (can't remember what kind, but it was also based on php), and on the home page of the board software users had developed plug-ins. I installed and used a sign-up plug-in which simply asked the new user to type a random word from a (built in) word list backwards. That kept 99% of the spammers away, because they were actually bots which couldn't read
I keep getting notifications about new posts by this user - although they are dated several days ago. Maybe "GalenMi" injected some malicious code into the board...
Or are notifications just back logged and will be sent even after the posts are deleted?
