[Solved] no custom icons created

I am running GC 10.5.2 (2911) in OS 10.13.1. When I save an image, the file is displayed with a generic GC icon, not a custom icon of the image being saved. I did not have this issue with GC 9. What preferences do I need to adjust to have GC 10 create a custom icon on save?
