[Solved] Possible Minor Bugs GC 10.6.8 (3327)

Mac OS 10.11.6

GC Preferences have been trashed and these issues persist:

1. Sharpen -> Sharpen Luminance does not seem work. Not listed as having been the last action in Edit -> Undo

2. After trying to use Sharpen Luminance, no box appears when trying to select part of the image.

3. In Browser, the modified date under the thumbnails does not update automatically, although it will update when the Browser is Refreshed.

On the plus side, a minor issue which has bugged me for a long time has vanished. The thumbnails in Browser view haven't been updating automatically after editing for quite a few releases. Now they do!

Hi,

1) I selected Effect/Sharpen/Sharpen Luminance
Undo us available after the command.
Please go to the prefs part General/Memory. Did you maybe disable undo? Or undo for large images?

2) Did you maybe hide the selection frame in the View menu?

Afternoon Thorsten,

Downloaded and installed the latest beta.

1. Still there. Undo is not disabled nor disabled for large images. Undo is present and works for other functions.

2. Still there. Frame only vanishes following application of Sharpen Luminance although undo becomes available as though a region has been selected. However, following with, for example, cut has no effect. If I do Hide Selection Frame followed by Show Selection Frame, selection frame still not visible.

3. Yes, modification date now updates automatically. And Edited image Thumbnails also still update automatically.

Thanks for the quick test.
I will release the 10.6.9 tomorrow.

The problem was that your macOS 10.11 has a different Core Image filter for Sharpen Luminance.
