I am just getting my feet wet w/ Cadintosh, and am wondering how it compares to what I understand to be The Big Daddy of CAD software, Autocad. Will Cadintosh do as much? I would be surprised if it did, as Autocad costs a few grand. Thanks.

It will read and save as certain flavours of .DXF which is the generic interchange format. If you can persuade your AutoCAD person to save as DXF rather than DWG then there is a possibility that CADintosh will be able to open it.in friendshipRowland: Rowland Carson ... that's Rowland with a 'w' ...: <rowlandcarson@gmail.com> http://www.rowlandcarson.org.uk: Skype, Twitter: rowland_carson Facebook: Rowland Carson: pictures: http://picasaweb.google.com/rowlandcarson
