Version 11.1 (4132)
Hi,
I have noticed with this version and later (betas) that I have to go to View -> Show Folder Tree to turn it on but next time I load CG the Folder Tree is hidden again so I have to turn on the view every time. This is inconsistent with how it has always worked in the past. Is this a bug, a preference setting I am missing, or just my user account or install?
Thanks,
Patrick

Hi,
the panels are normally restored by the macOS window manager. Which macOS do you use?
What happens with the latest BETA:

Nope no change. Downloaded _build4160 and copied it from the disk image to my downloads folder (want to keep the stable release as is in my Applications folder). Opening Folder Tree, then quitting GC, then reopening, the tree is closed again.
This is the latest update to Catalina on a 2019 iMac.

Ah, that is a bug of Catalina. I found no workaround, yet. I hope that Apple will fix this soon.

FYI--Just upgraded to Catalina on a new iMac; running GC 11.1.1 (4163). Apple hasn't fixed it yet!

Can you please e-mail your exported prefs to support@lemkesoft.com ?

Also running Version 11.1.1 (4163) of GC. And latest update to Catalina 10.15.2 and am still experiencing the same thing. Tree won't say when you quit and restart.
Re: Show Folder Tree in browser not staying on?
Thorsten, not quite sure how to respond to your requests.
About This Mac shows Display 4096 x 2304, 21.5 inch display.
How do I provide the Preferences you requested (and pixel size if I misunderstood that)?
