[Solved] heic and xmp metadata

Post by Buadhai »

I recently got a new phone and started saving photos in heic format. Whenever I edit an heic image with a face in it and try to save I get the following message:
The image contains faces. However, the saving of xmp metadata is disabled for the format. Should the saving of xmp be enabled?
I click Enable and Save, but I get the same message on the next photo with a face. Is there some way to permanently enable the saving of xmp metadata with heic images?

I have plowed through the preferences and can't seem to find it.

TIA

Hi,

please open the image.
Select save as.
Click onto options and enable the storage.

I guess I don't understand. It's already enabled but I still get the same message.

Please download the latest BETA build 4230:
http://www.lemkesoft.org/beta.html

That should fix this HEIC issue.
