Spotlight comments in slideshows

I have discovered something strange going on with my slideshows. I frequently use slideshows with viewing metadata enabled to show the images’ Spotlight comments during the slideshow (the General: Comment text). However, since upgrading to Catalina, the comments don’t seem to work right anymore. The strange thing is, any Spotlight comments I had added before upgrading to Catalina still show up in the slideshow just fine, but the Spotlight comments I have added after the upgrade do not show up in the slideshow at all. Are Catalina Spotlight comments somehow different? Is there anyway to get them to show up in the slideshows again?

I just tried and it worked.

But Catalina asked one time for permissions. Did you give them to GraphicConverter?

I don't remember it ever asking me for that. I'll fiddle around with it and see if I can get it to appear. Thanks.
