I am wondering if Lemke Software has any plans to add capability for GraphicConverter to be able to convert various formats to WebP format. I am considering looking into it as an option for the large quantity of photos I use on my web site.

Hi,

webp export is already supported.
Just select as and show all formats in the popup.

I'm using a Mac. GC doesn't seem to recognize the webp format. It isn't in the filetype list, and the slideshow won't open them either. I seem to have the latest update. Is there a different capability between the Mac and Windows versions?
thanks

Do you use the current GraphicConverter 11? It supports webp.

Also, GraphicConverter is macOS only since 1992.

Hello,

I read here:

https://macintouch.com/community/index. ... post-27649

that the current version of GC can fix the files with this problem. Is that correct? Is there some documentation of how to use GC top do this?

Please download the latest BETA (build 4382 or later) for this:

http://www.lemkesoft.org/beta.html

Open the folder with the browser.
Select all images and choose this function in the context menu:
