[Closed] Lost License Key

OK - my own fault 
I'm in the process of a clean install and major rebuild of my iMac.
Reinstalled GC and started it up. Asks for license key.
Check keychain secure notes - find details for GC license key.
Enter in GC but told it's no good, it's a GC10 key. Check my emails and find old email with upgrade key for GC11.
Copy and paste GC11 license key into Keychain secure note and save.
Enter GC11 key into GC11.
Told that's and upgrade key and I need to also enter the original GC10 license key ... which I've just deleted because I was told it was no good ...
Any way of recovering the original GC10 kfrom the GC11 upgrade key or do I just have to buy a new license?
