I make a text object on one image, now I want to reproduce that on 7 other images. I select the text object with the arrow tool and look under the Edit>Copy menu: many kinds of copy but none that simply copy the text object. I don't want it as IPTC or HTML, I just want a text object. Simple command-C doesn't do anything, when I go to paste, I get the previous clipboard contents so command-C did not pick up the text object.
OK, so now I try option-Drag of the text object. No effect. Maybe in the Text Object Palette? No, I can't copy from it, or drag from it.
Is there no way to duplicate a text object onto another image? I mean, yes, I can copy the TEXT from inside the object, and make another object with the same contents, but I would like the geometry and so on to be included.

Re: How to copy a text object?
That is currently not supported.
I add that to the ToDo list.

Re: How to copy a text object?
The current 11.3.2 supports it now.
Just select the text object and you can use copy and paste.
