[Solved] image appearance changes with save

Post by pietschker »

I have a weird phenomenon - no idea whether this is connected to some setting I forgot I made or what else.
I open a JPG and enhance it, in the case of the example increasing saturation and some other things. I save as 95% JPG, in the process the image does not change on the screen, it looked and still looks like attachment 1. Now I re-open the image, and it looks like attachment 2 :o (on the same screen, of course). As you can see the 2nd image has less saturation and it is much lighter.
Both images are screenshots, not the original image files.
Any ideas what could cause this behaviour?

Do you maybe save without Exif and ICC? Or did you maybe check "Merge Color Profile"?

image appearance changes with save [SOLVED]

Problem solved - yes, the problem was in the ICC/EXIF profile settings. Sorry for the late reply, I somewhat lost track recently.
