Hi Rowland,the ellipse tool is currently a special element (an xline with 4 points which is filled with the ellipse).Support for working like the other tools will require a complete new implementation of that element.Currently the complete reprogramming of the interface has priority. Ah, so it's not a 'location' you are specifying, but an 'offset'.
