There are two ways for a simple concatenate/combine.
1) The automatic one:
Select File/Convert & Modify
Select the two source images.
Select Concat as function.
Select Start selected Function.
2) The manual one:
Open the images.
Select Effect/Arrange Images Side by Side (vertical or horizontal)
You can use a second layer with the second image for stitching.
