In the Backup Preferences folder, what is the difference between the final entry, "Preferences.xml," and the entry immediately above it, "2020-11-10 07.50.46.xml?" Which one should I import to restore my Preferences after they've been corrupted? Thanks.

Preferences.xml is the the automatically stored file. This is written automatically upon quitting the app.

The other is a manual saved one with the exact date in the name. This is created upon Apple menu/Backup Preferences/Export.
