[Solved] Text flips upside down ?

I am trying to add some text to an image.
It appears fine whilst I am inputting it, but as soon as I try to move it, or do anything, it flips upside down, i.e rotates 180º about the horizontal axis.

It is possible I set something ages ago, and now have no idea where to find whatever setting is doing this, nor what it might be called.

It occured to me to update to the latest version. So now using 10.5.7 and the problem (whatever it was) has gone away.

Please use the current version 11 on Big Sur.
