I recently updated to v.11.4 and now, after I add a text caption to a .jpg, I am unable to change the text color - clicking on the "Text Color" box in the "Text" window opens the "Color" window, but clicking on a color in the "Color" window does not change the color of the highlighted text or the color in the "Text Color" box in the "Text" window. This did not occur in the earlier version of GC.

Re: v11.4 - can't change text color
Hi,
I just retried and it works perfectly here on Big Sur. Did you try to click onto the text color field first?
What happens if you trash the prefs with our first aid tool?

Re: v11.4 - can't change text color
Thanks for your reply.
To answer your question: Yes, I did click on Text Color field first, which opened the Color window BUT, when I clicked on a color in the Color window, the Text Color remained the same (in this case, white.) I even tried Control-clicking, double-clicking, any other way of clicking that I could think of, but Text Color did not change.
I also tried reverting to a previous version of GC that I found on download.com (v.11.2) which had worked before I updated to v. 11.4 but, in that version, the text color option worked but, once the text was finished being inserted onto the .jpg and the text box removed, the text turned upside-down! I then tried re-updating to v.11.4, hoping something had changed, but the original problem of not being able to change the text color remained.
I am using macOS 11.2.2, if that makes a difference, or is that the version you used when you tested this?
Thanks, again.

Please e-mail your saved preferences to support@lemkesoft.com
You can export them from the GraphicConverter menu item Backup.

Just select the following function:
Re: v11.4 - can't change text color
thanks. found it!
btw, I was just wondering if deleting the .plist (com.lemkesoft.graphicconverter11.plist) in the User/Library/Preferences folder would correct the problem, or maybe deleting the other com.lemkesoft.graphiccoveretr10.plist and com.lemkesoft.graphiccoverter9.plist files would help?
thanks, again.
