Bug(?) in compressing a folder of TIFF files

When I use Batch & Format (or Convert & Modify) to try to compress a folder of TIFF files, GC's interface seems to get stuck, requiring a Force Quit of GC. The conversion itself seems to work.

what happens if you select "Don't show again" for the message?

After selecting "Don't show again" for the message, GC behaves as I would expect and completes the batch task without a problem.

What does the message mean? Why is GC saying it will ignore the destination format?

The message is just a not if you added a change format batch action.
