[Closed] Zoom value setting accuracy?

I have just set up a 24inch M1 iMac with Big Sur 11.5.2 and iCalamus 2.23.
The zoom value needs to be set to 400% to have the rulers at the correct size irrespective of which of the 5 display resolutions are set in the display preferences. See the attached photo.
Have I missed something, or is there a bug somewhere?
Regards,
Trevor Thompson

The iMac has a retina display with a very high resolution. So, that is normal.

I'm sorry for taking so long to get back to this topic.
In the past (since at least mid 2008), when the iCalamus zoom was set to 100%, the screen display was dimensionally correct. If the page size was A4, then a ruler placed across the screen measured the page width as 21cm.
Please see the attached photo taken on my old 2008 iMac with iCalamus 2.19 and OSX 10.11.6 (El Capitan). It shows an A4 page at 100% zoom, and the information on the screen is dimensionally correct.
On the M1 iMac (OSX 11.6 Big Sur) in the original posted photo, the zoom needs to be set to 400% to get a screen with correct (as far as I can tell) dimensions.
It seems to me that iCalamus is not displaying the screen size correctly in the Zoom box.

Trevor Thompson.

The new M1 Mac has a retina display with a much higher resolution (not 72 ppi).
Also, Apple does not return the exact screen resolution. So, there is currently no other workaround.
