Batch tasks

Post by aleks83 »

Hi,

i am new to Mac and new to GraphicConverter.

Since a few days I am trying out the GraphicConverter if its suitable for my tasks.
On my windows system I used IrfanView to do my Batch tasks.

I am pretty sure that GC can do this as well, but I couldn't find the right way until now.

What I want to do:
Photo located on NAS #1 in Folder: \2021\Birthday\IMG_XXXXXX.jpg
Photo is supposed to be renamed to EXIF date like 2021-11-16 12-48-10.jpg
Photo is supposed to be copied to NAS #2 in Folder: \2021\Birthday\
There it is supposed to be renamed like OldFilename_small.jpg

The folder structure of NAS #2 is exactly the same as NAS #1.

How can I do all these tasks in one action?

Hi,

do I understand it correctly?

1. rename original to the exif date
2. copy the file to the backup NAS

That's correct.

And 3.
Rename the copied file to 2021-11-16 12-48-10_small.jpg

Thanks.

GraphicConverter can rename a complete set of files.
But the copy operation is not supported, yet.

I add that to the todo list.
