Hell all - I have GC 11.5.2 (5186) on a MacBook and a Mac Pro.
The MacBook is running Big Sur 11.6
The Mac Pro I just rebuilt from scratch and it has Monterey 12.01.
---
Prior to the rebuild of the MacPro GC would remember by preferred browser window layout.
I like to:
Keep the left side Folder Tree turned off (or hidden)
Keep the Thumbnail column showing only 1 column of thumbs
Keep the right side Preview area huge. So when I click a thumb I see a large preview of my image
---
Attached are two partial screen captures.
One - for the MacBook - shows my preferred GC browser window layout each time I open a folder of kitten images.
the other - shows what I now get each launch of GC. I cannot get my preferred browser window layout to be remember between launches!
----
I've compared Preference settings but cannot find what might control remembering the layout.
Any suggestions on how to fix this will be appreciated.
thank you

Re: Disable Folder Tree and keep preferred layout?
Please update to the current version 11.5.4. It will remember the tree width on Monterey.
