[Solved] Convert & Modify - 2nd File Creation
[Solved] Convert & Modify - 2nd File Creation
Hello. I have been trying to convert a very large number of TIF files at 600 dpi to JPGs at 600 DPI, but for each file I keep getting a new 600 dpi and 72 dpi JPG. How do I stop getting the second smaller file? I've read through the manual and settings, but can't stop the second file from being created. I don't need the smaller file, it doubles my number of files, and I would have to manually sort through a very large number of files to delete the smaller file. Thanks.

Re: Convert & Modify - 2nd File Creation
Hi,
this happens if the TIFF is a multipage file.
Just open such a tiff with GraphicConverter and check if you see the page selector at the bottom right of the window.
Just go to the prefs part open/formats/multipage and select i.e. only first page. So, convert&modify will only process the first page.

Thanks a lot. The solution worked great. I was not familiar with multipage files.
