[Solved] Drop area does not receive any files

GraphicConverter 11.7.1 (5642) on macOS 11.7

1) From GC's browser or alternatively also from 2) Finder
a) being in any view mode (icon, list, cover flow, mini list)
b) drag any file type (PNG, JPG, WEBP) onto the drop area

and the drop area does not receive them (animated as file icons bouncing back to the source).

Searched for terms "drop" and "drop area" in manual, preference search and menu search and found no config which could cause that.

Have no idea why this is not working. Note: First time that I attempted to use that feature. Hence cannot tell whether it worked earlier.

Did you drag and drop from the browser main area?

That works perfectly.

Yes 1) from GC's browser area in various view modes and various files.

Alternatively 2) also from Finder it does not receive.

Did you restart GC?
It works fine with GC browser and Finder.

OMG how embarassing, a restart is usually always included in my troubleshooting routine, but not this time.

Yes a restart helped. I can now drop both from GC's own browser as well as from Finder into that drop zone.
