[Closed] Lossless JPEG crop: make more convenient than lossy crop

JPEG has this great functionality of lossless crops, it's a pity that it's much harder to do vs. the regular lossy crop:
  • you need to invoke a special command before the start
  • you can't select with a mouse
  • your selection is invisible, you have to guess what the numbers are to select what you need
I'd like instead for the Editor's default cropping functionality to always be lossless pipeline for JPEGs and then you'd have all the convenience of a regular select&crop etc. without having to worry about generation loss. And then if you do need the lossy crop (for example, you don't want the box to by a multiple of 8×8, which is a limitation of lossless), then you should be able within the same Editor to invoke a separate "lossy crop" command

(the same should be for rotation, but that I already suggested that in another issue)

You can crop lossless with the mouse.

Also, the selection rectangle is visible.

You can use the crop fro photo service feature for quickly cropping images lossy and lossless:

Thanks for the suggestion, but that's not a substitute to the proper Editor's cropping because of a bunch of serious limitations:
  • you can't resize the box vertically/horizontally (only diagonally, and ⇧ doesn't seem to constraint the direction)
  • you also can's see the coordinates
  • neither can you change them
  • you can't move with arrow keys for pixel-perfect selection
  • you don't see the magnifying glass in the Detail window
and maybe something else I've missed
