[Solved] Forum notification: no email

There is a similar post, but that one was resolved with a change of settings

I, on the other hand, still haven't received a single email notification (the spam folder is also empty) despite having already changed all the settings (agree with the previous poster that the defaults are awful — you don't even get auto-subscribed to your own post!!!)
