Editor: change picture position from the center

Is it possible to move the image from the center of the editor window to another position?
It would help, for example, in comparing two images: suppose the second image is just 1 pixel taller, but otherwise supposed to be identical, so if you could move this picture 1 pixel down you could flip two editor windows back and forth and immediately see the difference in the similar areas because they'd be in the same location
Usually the hand tool does this, but in GC it only works when the picture doesn't fully fit the window, while I'd prefer it to always work
