Default options on open pdf document

Previously I was asked about ignoring an ?alpha channel when opening a pdf. I clicked 'don't ask me again' once and am now seemingly stuck with an option I don't want, ie documents open with a checkerboard background (see example image)..... Is there something I can check/uncheck somewhere to reverse this, without completely deleting preferences?? Thanks!

Just go to the prefs part open/formats/pdf and select the preferred defaults.
