Is there a quick way to append metadata to a file?

I often need to add contact information, website, copyright info to a file. Is there a quick way to append this to the existing metadata without changing any of the other values? In Adobe Bridge there is an option to append a pre-saved Metadata Template with these extra values. Is there an equivalent in Graphic Converter?

I've found a solution which does this:

First, create a file info template:
- Select an image.
- Cmd-I to get the Edit File Info (IPTC) window.
- Edit the fields you want to save, making sure any other fields are blank.
- Save using the cog at the bottom-left.

Now this extra info can be added to any selected images by opening the info window (Cmd-I) then selecting from the cog "Open w/o overwrite..."

Yes, that is the correct way. It adds the data without any recompression of the image.

This works with a single image, but there seems to be a bug in V10 when trying to add this saved metadata to multiple selected images.

If I Edit IPTC with multiple images selected I get the File Info window. If I click either the "Open" or "Open w/o overwrite..." buttons at the bottom then the "Cancel" and "OK" buttons become unresponsive. Although the programme doesn't crash, the File Info window remains open until I quit, and the metadata isn't changed.

I tried it in V11 and it works as expected.

Yes, please use version 11 for this.
