I just upgraded to version 11.8 on my MacBook Pro running MacOS Ventura 13.0.1. Using the Index function within 'Rename (simple method)' in the Browser, I'm getting unexpected results. Remove index is not removing digits as it did prior to 11.8. Add Index and Change Index do not prepare filenames as they did. Finally, clicking Rename does not successfully rename the files; the numerical part gets shuffled before the renaming completes.
Is it possible to drop back to 11.7? Thanks for the help.

Re: Index failing in Browser simple rename
The rename part was not changed in version 11.8.
Please email your saved rename settings to support@lemkesoft.com
Also, please email the first 5 filenames. So, I can recheck here.

Here's an example, first with Remove on:
Thanks,
mike
then off:
How would I go back to 11.7? I don't find a separate download and I didn't keep the previous one. If there were no changes from 11.7 to 11.8, this may be a MacOS 13.0.1 issue. I don't remember exactly, but it seems I upgraded the OS not that long ago. Thanks,
mike

Re: Index failing in Browser simple rename
The screenshots show the correct working.
Screenshot 1:
The old index is removed.
You add a new index after the name starting at 300 with step 2: 300, 302, 304
Screenshot 2:
You add an additional index after the name.
What kind of rename do you exactly want?

Re: Index failing in Browser simple rename
Screenshot 1:
Did you checked Offset and Step.
Offset: 300 Step: 2
-> new Index same as old index
Screenshot 2:
Why did you unchecked Remove existing?

Re: Index failing in Browser simple rename
The latest BETA of GC11 and GC12 fix the issue with the drop area.
